  At Yahoo, I contributed to the development of AI-powered enhancements for Yahoo Mail, introducing intelligent mail classification and smart snippets that display message overviews and quick actions (like calendar additions, flight check-ins, and order tracking). These features enriched the user experience by simplifying email management, improving productivity, and driving higher engagement and retention.

  In addition, I worked on Yahoo Sender’s Hub, an industry-leading initiative to reduce junk mail using advanced CFL processes, elevating standards for mail senders and making abuse reporting more accessible. I also architected a scalable codebase for the redesigned Mail platform, reducing technical debt by 40% and supporting continuous deployment across multiple global data centers, which improved platform stability and accelerated feature rollouts.

  Leading a team of five engineers, I provided mentorship and conducted comprehensive code reviews, fostering a collaborative culture that boosted team productivity, ensured high-quality code standards, and encouraged innovative solutions.

  At McGraw Hill, I was integral to the successful launch of the educational study app “Sharpen.” I led front-end development, ensuring the app met stringent design and functionality standards while delivering on schedule. My work focused on creating a modular and scalable architecture with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS, which streamlined the addition of new features and maintained high performance.

  To enhance student engagement, I developed interactive mini quizzes and flashcards using JavaScript and TypeScript. Additionally, I contributed to the development of the platform’s second version, implementing features like video playback and adaptive learning algorithms. This role allowed me to leverage a diverse tech stack while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a user-centric and engaging educational experience.

  At Omaze, I played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s digital presence and eCommerce capabilities. I led the development of a front-end application focused on international market expansion, ensuring seamless content management and localization across different regions. My responsibilities also included engineering a phased migration from Shopify to a custom-built eCommerce platform, handling the transition of critical components like the front-end, CMS, checkout, and backend systems.

  Additionally, I spearheaded hybrid mobile app development using React Native, implementing automated build and deployment processes on GitHub, and mentoring junior developers. My role involved documenting technical decisions in Confluence and fostering a collaborative knowledge-sharing culture. Working with a diverse tech stack, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, AWS, and CI/CD tools, I consistently delivered scalable solutions aligned with Agile methodologies.

  Worked on creating and launching the bleeding edge online ordering and delivery platform which brings digital experience to customers of the following fast food chains: Tim Hortons, Burger King, and Popeyes. As an engineer of the consumer technology group I was responsible for building and launching the digital Roll Up The Rim campaign for Tim Hortons, improving order placing experience in Burger King and Popeyes, adding a new payment method - BK Gift Card (BK Crown Card) to the platform, improving the way UI looks and performs across the brands. Also was supporting many other marketing initiatives and new feature development.   Senior Developer Contract

  Over the course of 7 months, I was actively engaged in Agile development of a customer portal application. I participated in the project from the very start to a few weeks after the product launch date, and my role was Lead React developer. At the various stages of the project, I was mentoring up to 6 frontend developers as well as designing architecture of the React application, developing core functionality and conducting code reviews for my team. In this project, I gained tremendous experience in developing web applications in accordance with accessibility standards, including AODA (Ontario Accessibility Act), and also working remotely with a large distributed team.

  Infomart (a division of Postmedia Network Inc) is a leading social media monitoring service in Canada. For hundreds of influential brands, it provides the way to keep track of citation not only in social media but also in traditional news and video content such as TV Shows and Video News Reports.

  My responsibilities in the company was to ensure a transition from legacy platform to a new architecture of connected RESTful micro-services on the backend and responsive SPA on the client-side, which are easy to maintain and extend with minimal efforts.
